Cascading ComboBox Items Filtering

I have two ComboBoxes, I will call then ComboBox1 and ComboBox2 for the sake of simlicity. 

In ComboBox1 I can select multiple values, ComboBox2 reflects values respective to ComboBox1-selection.

Some selected values in ComboBox1 have no respective ComboBox2 values and I'd like to hide them. How can I do this?

My current Items-function for ComboBox2 is as follows:

Filter('Datasource', Value exactin ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Result)

How are the cascading dropdowns related?

Are they multi select choice columns or lookups?

Both dropdowns relate to a Single line of text field. The datasource for both is a SP list with text columns like this:

Column1       Column2

Value1          RelatedValue1

Value1          RelatedValue2

Value2          (blank)

ComboBox1 relates to Column1, ComboBox2 relates to Column2 - now I wanna filter all values where Column2 is blank for ComboBox2.

Problem is I have 2 DisplayFields in ComboBox2 which display the related Column1 value.

The depency is set up like this:

ParentControl:

ConboBox1

Result

Matching field

'DataSource'

MatchingColumn

HEy @MKWIN 

You can use IsBlank() function to check for the blank values in Column2.

To get the blank column2 rows expression for combobox can be modified to:

Filter('Datasource', IsBlank(Column2))

This will get all the records where the column2 is blank. If you need further help with integrating the formula, please share more details.

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to hide the Blank value within the ComboBox2 for the selected value within the ComboBox1?

I have made a test on my side, please consider modify your formula as below:

Set the Items property of the ComboBox2 to following formula:

Filter(
       'Datasource', 
        Column1 in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Result,
        !IsBlank(Column2)           /* <-- Add this formula */
)

Please consider take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.
