Hi guys,
I have created the crisis communication application for my team, works great, but when I have translated the app to swedish by setting the Set(varLanguage,"sv-SE") most of the words in the app are directly translated so there is a lot of spacing in between words causing some confusion.
To my question, I want to change the names of the links on the front-page dashboard of the app, is this possible in an easy way? I want to change the "World news", "Company news" etc to the swedish names, at the moment it translates but only some of the app pages. The page with choosing whether I "Working from home" or "Out of office" is not translated into swedish, and the front page have, as I said, spaces in between words so in Swedish it should be "Worldnyheter" instead of "World nyheter"
I hope this make sense and sorry for some broken english
Best regards

Translations for the Crisis Communications app is handled through an imported Excel file. The file can be found in the package you download and import (CrisisCommunication.Translations.xlsx). Here are the steps to make changes:
After that you should see the changes
Hopefully that works, please mark this as a solution if it does!

Tjenare and thanks! It worked! But there is still some words in english that did not change. When you start the app and click on "Status" youll get the choice "Working from home" and "Out of office" those two did not translate into swedish and I couldnt find those words in the Exceldocument. Also the "Back" button doesnt translate. Any suggestions? 🙂
Did some digging and it seems that "Working from home" and "Out of office" translates from the choice column 'PresenceStatus' in the list 'CI_Employee Status', so if you change them there it should change in the app.
As for the back buttons they seem to be hard coded to English for some reason, so you might have to go through the components and make changes where necessary, for instance in the DetailViewer component you can change the text field of lblDetailViewerBack to "Tillbaka"
Thanks! 😃
One last question, it seems like I cant add the Power Apps Notification Connection? I can find it here: https://emea.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/shared_powerappsnotification/power-apps-notificatio...
but I cant add it when I try to add a new connection? (See attached)
Have you tried searching for it? There is a search box in the top right corner.
Ah, lol. My mistake I used the universal search function didnt see the one in the right corner! All good, I accept this as an solution, thanks dude 🙂
Just some more questions haha, learning a lot today thanks to you 😉 When I changed "Working from home" and "Out of office" the images dissapeared from the app? And I cant find where to change the buttons "Read more" and translate it, I found "Back" from your advice and everything else seem to work fine 🙂
Right, for the Icons you need to need to go to 'Work Status Screen' and in it's OnVisible change the text under "// Translations and icon for working from home." and " // Translations and icon for out of office." to the same text that you set as your new text.
For "Read more", they are located in Components> NewsGallery/TipsGallery/etc., and change the text of btnXXLaunch
Worked! 🙂 Is there a way to change the background image? And how do I change the calendar to be in swedish (month names) 😄
