Change label text based on date

Hello

Is it possible to display different message on the screen based on dates , for example ‘Merry Christmas ‘ text would only show between certain dates hardcoded in backend , then after that would show something else, ‘Happy Easter’ text only shows on certain dates , it’s it’s not possible it’s ok.

You can try to use DateValue() to convert date formatted string to date.

Hi, maybe you can try this:

1. Try to create a SP list of the events, so that any additional or missed events will not be a problem later. Then, in Power Apps insert a label and set its Text property as Today() then another label for the message as below:

Message label Text = LookUp(splist, Today() = columnnamefordateinsp, columnnameformessage)

Another way is manually, 

create a label with the Text property:

If(
    Today() = DateValue("12/25/2022"),
    "Merry Christmas!",
    Today() = DateValue("12/27/2022"),
    "Tuesday!",
    ""
)

If you make a list (I will call it Messages) with the fields FromDate, ToDate and Greeting, then the formula would be

LookUp(
   Messages,
   FromDate <= Today() &&
   ToDate >= Today()
).Greeting
