Combobox multiple value selection saving/updating issue

I have a DataVerse table with a single line of text column called "Project Team". In my edit form within my PowerApp, I have the ProjectTeam DataCard which includes the text input (DataCardValue41) and a combobox that I added (DataCardValue41_2). The combobox is connected to Office 365 and I am able to search and choose multiple individuals.

My problem is that I can get the text box to show the multiple values chosen in the combobox, and it updates the field in the DataVerse table but when I close out and come back in the combobox is empty. If I add an additional person to combobox, I lose the originally chosen people. 

I need users to be able to add people using the combobox when they initially create their item, but they need to be able to go back in after the fast to add or remove people. 

Would anyone have any advice? I feel like I'm missing something that should be simple lol.

@LindseyT - you have probably already followed the first step, but writing all steps all out for completeness:

1. In the Update property of the DataCard for the Single Line Text field, use: 

Concat(
    DataCardValue41_2.SelectedItems.'Full Name',
    ";"
)
//change full name to whichever attribute you need from the record

In the DefaultSelectedItems property of the ComboBox control, use either: 

Split(
    ThisItem.'Project Team',
    ";"
)

Or:

Split(
    Parent.Default,
    ";"
)

Hi @LindseyT,

It is an issue related to data structrue.

You set the ComboBox with a table returned by Office365User() function, however the default value expect a value matched to the data in your Dataverse table.

So you need to set the DefaultSelectedItems property as below:
