Component Library and Patch

Hello, I'm have a component I created in the component library and imported it to my main App. The problem I have is that I want to patch whatever item is selected from the gallery in my component and update my main SharePoint list, but don't really know where to put the Patch function in. I'm able to get the item's ID by setting an output in my component, and the component is getting its data from a collection.

If you want to save the data of the record in the component to the SP list, then you also need to set an output property for this record. It looks like this:

Create an output property for record. The columns marked in red in the code are necessary columns for the component to output records, please do not delete them. We can add the data of the record found by lookup on the three columns.

Then write the Patch function on the button in the screen.

Patch(ListName,Defaults(ListName),{Title:Component.RecordOutput.ColumnName})

Hi @odgerel ,

You can't use the buttons in the component directly to make changes to the data source outside the component, you need to pass the table into the component before you can change it, and then pass the modified table back out of the component. The columns in the table must also contain a specific three columns during the incoming and outgoing process.
