Copy field value to field of new form

Hi,

as I am new to Power Apps I have some problems.

I have a label field which calculates the difference between a start date and an end date.

Now, I want that the value of the calculation field is copied automatically to the field "Tage" in the new form.

If the calculation field is empty due to no selection of dates, the field "Tage" should also be blank.

The data source is SharePoint.

Any ideas how to do that?

Based on what you've sent, you should just be able to copy the text directly, using something like: YourCalculatedLabel.Text

Update the Text property of your Tage input box, you should modify it with the following code.

AnzahAusgewShlterTage.Text

Do you want to populate the Tage based on the calcaulation label only in new form?

Please set the Default property of the datacard value of the Tage field as below:

If(Form1.Mode=FormMode.New,Label_calculation.Text,ThisItem.Tag)

You can also write  something like this on Text Property of "Tage"

If(
	Form1.Mode=FormMode.New,
	DateDiff(DataCardValue4, DataCardValue5, TimeUnit.Days )+1,
	ThisItem.Tag
)

Hi @Rifo,

You just need to copy the formula you set for the calculation field to replace the Label_calculation.Text.
