Create a Cascading Combobox ( multi-value) with Sharepoint list as datasource

I use three choices - comboboxes with multi-value selection to filter a gallery. However, I would like to make sure that combobox3 only shows the values based on combobox2.

I have not find a good way to make this work. I read that delegation might do some problems here, but the data has less than 500 (2000) entries.

The gallery is filtered as follows (and it works fine):

Filter(Database,Or(search.Text in Title),

Or(IsBlank(combobox1.SelectedItems),
    IsEmpty(combobox1.SelectedItems),
    true in ForAll(
        combobox1.SelectedItems;
        ThisRecord.Value in Branche.Value)),

Or(IsBlank(combobox2.SelectedItems),
    IsEmpty(combobox2.SelectedItems),
    true in ForAll(
        combobox2.SelectedItems;
        ThisRecord.Value in Product.Value)),


Or(IsBlank(combobox3.SelectedItems),
    IsEmpty(combobox3.SelectedItems),
    true in ForAll(
        combobox3.SelectedItems,
        ThisRecord.Value in Theme.Value))

Could anyone recommend a solution to make combobox3 dependent on combobox 2?

Do you want to:

Case1:Set a new filter rule of the gallery , if so you could try:

Filter(Database,Or(search.Text in Title),

Or(IsBlank(combobox1.SelectedItems),
    IsEmpty(combobox1.SelectedItems),
    true in ForAll(
        combobox1.SelectedItems;
        ThisRecord.Value in Branche.Value)),

And(Or(IsBlank(combobox2.SelectedItems),
    IsEmpty(combobox2.SelectedItems),
    true in ForAll(
        combobox2.SelectedItems;
        ThisRecord.Value in Product.Value)),


Or(IsBlank(combobox3.SelectedItems),

 Case2:Set combo box3's items property

Sorry for not being clear.

In combobox2 there are products. In combobox3 there are themes. I want combobox3 only to show the possible themes based on the product chosen in combobox2.

So it would be Case2.

Currently for the combobox3 the item property is:

Choices(Database.Theme)

Currently there is no relationship selected or added.

I assume 'Theme' and 'Product' do not allow multiple selections . You could try:

Set the combo box3's items property to:

Filter(
    Choices(Database.Theme),
    Value in
    ForAll(
        Filter(Database,Product.Value=Combobox2.Selected.Value),
        Theme.Value
    )
)

It works fine if I only select one item in the combobox3. Big thanks.

However, combobox3 should be able to select multiple Themes. How would I achieve this?

"This data type cannot be converted.

Power Apps cannot convert this data from type "Text" to type "Table".
