Create a Collection from Person or Group

I want to create a collection that contains all the groups. I have Person or Group column on SharePoint List

Any suggestion how.

To clarify, you have 2 columns in your sharepoint list. One is unique (person), but group isn't. You want to create a collection with the unique groups in it. Correct?

Yes. I want to get all the Groups in a combobox. 

I have a SharePoint Person or Group Column and it is showing all the groups including with office365 email address too. I want to filter only the groups with the company domain email address. I'm getting the groups from SharePoint instead of Office365Group connector because I want to get ALL groups and not just one single one. I couldn't list all the groups using Office365Group connector (If can do let me know)

So I tried to Filter in the Item property as below but it is showing only 2 items. 

Filter(Choices(FirewallAccess.RestrGroupLookup),"company.com" in Email) or like below 

Filter(Choices(FirewallAccess.RestrGroupLookup),IsMatch(Email,"@company.com",MatchOptions.EndsWith))

So I'm assuming this cannot be done. So I'm thinking now to get SharePoint Groups to a Collection and Filter from the collection.

The second argument of Choices( in your line is a boolean.

If you want to filter the Email column for FirewallAccess.RestrGroupLookUp, you could just use

Filter(FirewallAccess.RestrGroupLookup;IsMatch(Email;"@company.com";MatchOptions.EndsWith)).ColumnNameYouWant

Can also add Distinct( to only return unique groups

So this is Person or Group Column from SharePoint list, That's why the item property have the Choices.

So I did what you told me which doesn't open the dropdrown too

It have greyed everything now in here

I think I understand what you want now: There is a list called 'FirewallAccess', and that list has a column called 'RestrGroupLookUp', with type: person on group. You want your dropdown to display all the distinct entries in that column with company domain as part of the Email in the claim. Correct?

Filter(FirewallAccess,IsMatch(RestrGroupLookUp.Email,'@company.com',MatchOptions.EndsWith)).RestrGroupLookup.Email

 The last bit determines which part of the Claim you wish to show in your dropdown

I am adding the code to the Item Property. It doesn't accept it.

It cant see RestrGroupLookUp.Email

I didn't get anything to work straight in the Items property, so decided to try make an intermediate collection:

You should then set the items property to Distinct(Groups,Value).Value and should be fine

Please double check syntax, im from europe so had to change after testing it

Sorry for the late reply.

So I'm adding the code to my Form OnVisible property.

I'm getting the error 'The function "ForAll" has some invalid arguments'. 

ThisRecord.Email doesn't get any result. If I type 'ThisRecord' it prompt 'RestrGroupLookup' and I get the option to select 'Email'. So with that change I'm getting a new error

Do I need to add a collection like below

Collect(GroupCollection,FirewallAccess.RestrGroupLookup);

And then use the ForAll on that collection to get the record. I tried to amend and use your code but no success.

When I add the collection like that it comes with no data

Thats strange, the following works for me:
(; should be , due to region)

The hard bit is the beginning. In the first ForAll( you want to grab the value of the column that contains your groups/persons. The second ForAll( you want to grab each email present in that record. Since the record person/group is essentially a table, you need the .Email to grab the mail.

If you start from scratch from the top, can you get your formula to autofill in the correct value necessary to end up with the Email for the inner ForAll?
