Dataverse Search: How to modify the "Top Results" view and is there any way to refine what the search finds?

I have configured the dataverse search in a model driven app that has several tables.

I have created the quick find view for the tables to include the columns I want to be searchable and have went into Solutions and manually added these fields to be included in the dataverse search since they are custom tables.

When I use the search, im presented with a "Top Results" view, which shows me 1 record on the account table and it matches, thats good.  However despite it saying "Showing 2 of 209 results for customer name from 7 tables in the CRM. Did you find what you were looking for?YesNo", its only displaying the results from one table, the Account Table.

If I click "show more" it shows me a list of only Account table columns that have the search in any of the fields that are included in the quick find view.  Meaning if I search a name like "Ryan Flower", its showing all the Accounts that have "Ryan" or "Flower" in any of the included columns, if the address has "flower" in it, it shows, if the last name of someone is "Ryans" its included.  Its showing nothing from any of the other included tables.

However, when typing in the search bar, the drop down list of object records does show me results from all the other tables included in the dataverse search, jobs, appointments etc.  When i hit enter to actually search, its back to the issue mentioned above.

It also only shows the "Account" table to the right of "Top Results" despite it saying its searching 7 tables.

How do I make the "Top Results" show all the included tables when you hit enter and not just the one Account table?

How do I edit the column view of what is shown under "Top Results"?  The view it shows does not match any of the views created for the Account table its showing.

Hello, 

I came across your post as I was looking how to modify the 'Top Results' as well. 

After some research, I've discovered the 'Top Results' only show the first 6 columns that you have configured in your Quick Find View. The Name/Primary table column will always show first. The full quick find view will show when you click on the table results. 

What I believe is what results are shown in the 'Top Results' is based on each table 'Quick Find View' and the 'Find By' columns you have added to these.
