Date from drop down list to be only used once

I have a drop down list that shows dates depending on another control.

What I need is once a date is picked and submitted, it should not appear anymore in the succeeding transactions.

Hoping for an immediate help.

What you need to do is to create two Variables, One OnSuccess property of the Form and the Other OnVisible of the screen:

OnVisible of the screen.

   Set(VarHide,false)

Then if you are using a form to submit, Onsucces of the Form:
   Set(VarHide,true)

If it a Patch instead of a Form, Add the variable at the end of your code, example:
     Patch(....);Set(VarHide,true)

Then on the particular control's Visible you want to hide put:
  VarHide

@eka24I am not sure that is what @Anonymous meant.

When you say 'Submit', I am assuming that you are running a Submit function on your form to create/update a record.

I am also assuming that the Drop Down is a field/card on the form, and that it is a Date Picker control (since it's a Date type).

You will want to

• Unlock/Customize the card
• Update the OnChange function for the Input control (DateValue1, for example)
• Check if the selected Date is in the Data Source, or Collection from it, and then Reset the control

For mine, I used the CDS Account entity. First adding it to a Collection, with only a date field formatted as Short Date.

Then, on my DateTime control on my Form card, I added this function to the OnChange property.

Could you please share a bit more about the formula you typed within the Items property of the dates Dropdown box?

Do you want the submitted date value not to be shown up within the dates Dropdown box any more?

Further, which type column do you use to store the selected/picked date value within the Dropdown box? Text type column or Date type column?

I have made a test on my side, please consider take a try with the following workaround:

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the Filter function could achieve your needs. Set the Items property of the Dropdown box to following:

Filter(DatesCollection, Not(Value in Table1.DateColumn))

Note: The DatesCollection represents the available dates options within your Dropdown box, on your side, you should replace it with actual formula in your app. The Table1 represents your data source, DateColumn represents the column in your data source, which is used to store the picked date value.

You should take a try with the following formula:

Filter(
       DatesCollection,     // Replace here with actual Filter formula you typed within the Items property of the Dropdown box in your app
       Not(Value in 'Your Data Source'.DateColumn) // replace the Value with actual column name which is used as dislay column value within the Dropdown box
)

Please take a try with above solution, check if the issue is solved.

I have another question. My transactions must be editable.

I noticed that the values do not return in the list whenever I edit a transaction.
