Date value changed after submitting form

Hi everyone,

I got a problem when in my form I pick a date then submit the form, in my list, the date changed backward. Example:

I pick 30 July, after submitting it on my list the date changed to 29 July.

Before I implement flow using the same list, nothing changed, but after I use flow somehow I got this problem. 

Is it because I change the date format in the list from Date only to Date and Time? or because of the flow I implement? or is there something I do wrong? Please need your advice.

Hi @cds, thank you for your reply.

I already use Convert Time Zone in my Flow, but that's not what I asking for.

You can see in the attachment the screenshot of the part in my Flow that converts the time from my List. 

What I am asking is why the date from my apps was changed after submitting a form, but when I call the value from the List to my apps, the date remains the same as the one I pick when submitting the form. 

I also add the attachments of value from my List and in the App.

Please I need help, this can affect when I want to extract the data from the List to excel as a report.

Do you mean that:
time in powerapps and in sharepoint list is different?

The reason is not about flow. The reason is about the time zone in powerapps and in sharepoint list.

In powerapps, date time display in local time zone by default.

In sharepoint list, data time display in the time zone that you set.

In your issue, the local time zone and the time zone you set in sharepoint list should be different.

So when you update to sharepoint list, it will transfer time from local to sharepoint time zone.

When you display time in powerapps, it will transfer time from sharepoint time zone to local time, which looks like the time that you select when updating.

How to solve this problem?
1)change your sharepoint list time zone to your local time zone.

 2)If you do not want to change the time zone that you set in sharepoint list, you could transfer time in powerapps when updating data.

I assume that:

in powerapps your timezone is: utc+8

in sharepoint your timezone is: utc+10

Then when updating, please use this data to update:

DateAdd(DatePicker1.SelectedDate,-120,Minutes)

When displaying time, please use this formula to display:

DateAdd(ThisItem.datefield,+120,Minutes)

I didn't know that SharePoint site can have timezone itself, I already try to search if SharePoint could set the timezone but I can't find it.
