Disable save button when no changes made or changes are cleared

Dear Community, 

I´m building an app, where I have a Form with several data cards. Users should be able to save their changes (patch data to a temp table) and they also should have a visual "hint" to save their changes as soon as any changes are made. 
However, the save button should be disabled again, if they delete the changes (using a button or deleting the entry in the data card), or as soon as they hit the button. 

I tried two different ways: 
1. Setting the DisplayMode property of the save button to:

If(

    Form1.Unsaved;

DisplayMode.Edit;

DisplayMode.Disabled

)

The same with the "Undo Changes" button, whereas the OnSelect property of the "UndoChanges" button is:

ResetForm(FormOverview)

However, the problem with this approach is that the save button will stay enabled, after it got clicked. I want it to be disabled, after the changes have been saved. 

The second approach was:

2. Beyond patching the data on the OnSelect property of the save button, I also set the variable varSaveButtonDisplayMode to "Disabled". 

Set(varSaveButtonDisplayMode; "Disabled")

I also set the DisplayMode of the save button to a more complex expression, where each data card value will be compared to the corresponding field in the datasource, and if no changes are made or the variable varSaveButtonDisplayMode is set to "Disabled", the button will be disabled, like this:

DataCardValue1.Text = myDataSource.Field1 &&
DataCardValue2.Text = myDataSource.Field2 &&
DataCardValue3.Selected.Value = myDataSource.Field3

) || varSaveButtonDisplayMode = "Disabled";
DisplayMode.Disabled;
DisplayMode.Edit

It works fine, when changes in the datacards will be deleted, and the save button will be also deleted, but it won´t be changed to edit DisplayMode, after new changes are made to the Form data (after clicking "save"). This is because the condition is met (varSaveButtonDisplayMode = "Disabled"). 

I still didn´t figure out a logic to solve this problem, so I´m open for any suggestions!

you can try something like this:

In the OnChange property of each data input, add:

Set(varHasChanges, true)

onselect of nutton:

ResetForm(FormOverview); Set(varHasChanges, false);

Displaymode of save button:

If(
    varHasChanges,
    DisplayMode.Edit,
    DisplayMode.Disabled
)

Hey @mmbr1606 , 

thank you for your answer, it indeed works with disabling the save button, after the data has been saved.

However if the user makes any changes and then deletes them, the button will stay enabled (because of the variable varHasCanges), however there are no changes to the data (as the user already deleted the changes made). 

Maybe you have an idea for that.

For each of your Datacard, under the OnChange Property,

Set(
varIsChanged, 
If(Self.Text <> yourDataSouce.Field1),true) 
) 
// We do not set to false because there are multiple datacards 

When you submit the button:

// Submit Form or other business logic 
Set(varIsChanged, false)

DisplayMode Property of Submit Button

If( varIsChanged, DisplayMode.Edit, DisplayMode.Disabled ) 

My approach is slightly different  to @mmbr1606 for the OnChange Property.

Thank you for your response, unfortunately the "save" button won´t  be disabled, if the changes in a data card will be deleted.. I don´t know how to overcome this issue.
