Distinct does not return all values

I have a Power App where I query a list. I would like to display all elements with the following query:

Sort(Distinct(AddressBook.'E-Name','E-Name'),Value,SortOrder.Ascending)

All elements are displayed except for one. The list contains, among others, these two values:
"Baum am See" and "Baum am Seeweg". However, only "Baum am See" appears in my app. How can I correct the above query so that both values appear in the list?

The issue with the Sort(Distinct(AddressBook.'E-Name','E-Name'),Value,SortOrder.Ascending) formula is that it treats "Baum am See" and "Baum am Seeweg" as the same value because they have the same first 11 characters. To fix this, you can add a second argument to the Distinct function to specify the number of characters to consider for uniqueness

Sort( Distinct(AddressBook, 'E-Name', 15), Value, SortOrder.Ascending )

I also didn't find anything that says the distinct function is limited to 11 characters and that you can give it additional characters so that they can be evaluated. Is there a definition from Microsoft for the distinct function that is only limited to 11 characters?

The Distinct function in Power Apps is used to summarize records of a table, removing duplicates. The function evaluates a formula across each record of a table and returns a one-column table of the results with duplicate values removed.

If you want to limit in your TextInput you should set the maximum length in Text input property control.

I use the Distinct function in a ComboBox, where I retrieve around 150 values. Most of the values are different, but only 2 are almost identical:

Abendbaum
Baum am See -- only this value is displayed
Baum am Seeweg -- this value is missing
Birnbaum
Weg zum Baum

It's not clear to me how to display all values using the Distinct function. Since this is not a text input field, I cannot enter a value here.

I test this same formula, In my end it works fine.

when I apply the formula:

Sort(Distinct(AddressBook,'E-Name'),SortOrder.Ascending)

then the values come out unsorted. I take the formula:

Sort(Distinct(AddressBook,'E-Name'),Value,SortOrder.Ascending)

then everything is sorted, but the value “Baum am Seeweg” is missing.

The problem was caused by the "Data row limit". When I increased the number to 2000 the problem no longer existed.
