Hey all! I have an issue where some users report not seeing items in a drop down menu, but other users see all options..
I have set up a test screen with multiple drop down menus with some using custom Collections and some using Choice options from a SharePoint list. Everything functions as expected for me and another user, but two other users have reported that not all options are visible and are reporting that even drop down menus NOT using a custom collection do not properly display any results...
I know it would be difficult to diagnose this issue with as little information as this, but am hoping that someone has a rough idea as to why some users can see all options and some cannot.

Generally the issue of some users seeing things and others not revolves around permissions.
Have you checked the user's permissions to Choices('MySharePointList'.AssignedTo), particularly when they can see the "All" - it suggests the second part did not collect as they did not have access to the list.

You are correct in that it is difficult to diagnose with the information provided. I assume the visibility of these controls is not conditional (it is true). Have you asked for screenshots of what they can see (I never rely on user's verbal descriptions - their concepts are often very different to yours). Also are the Items of the drop-down conditional?

Thank you for your reply! I have seen the results myself on their screens..
There is no conditional formatting for the visibility of the menus etc.
I created a test screen with a few different drop down menus using different data sources.
The "control" drop down menu only uses a SharePoint list choice option, another drop down uses a collection of the same SharePoint list option with the addition of the choice "All".
The users who are having issues do not see any options in the standard drop down using the SharePoint list and also only see the option "All" for the drop down using the custom collection.
The collection being used on the 2nd drop down menu is being created OnAppStart. I have tried moving this to the OnVisible for the screen housing the drop downs but that didn't change anything.. I am not using any other conditional formatting or anything that would cause person A to see the drop down menus fine and person B to not see any options in the "control" drop down or only "All" in the second.
I originally thought this may have to do with which browsers they were using, but I have tested the app in multiple different browsers and I do not have the same result that 2 others are experiencing.
here is the formula I am using to create the collection:
ClearCollect(colAssignedTo, "All");
Collect(colAssignedTo,Choices('MySharePointList'.AssignedTo));
I was thinking about how some reported only seeing the option for "All" as if the second Collect on colAssignedTo hadn't ran in their environment?

No, everyone is in the same country. We are actually on the same network even..
Also, these are Combo Boxes, not Drop Down menus... not sure if that matters or not?

That was it! I did not realize that I had to go in and set their permission for the SharePoint list itself.. I assumed that when I shared the app with someone in my organization, it would automatically take care of any permissions that needed to be set..
