Edit Form to retain last submitted values and use them to submit a new form instead of editing

I am building an app to add reports to a list.

I am using two buttons to submit the form

1- "Submit" Button: Submits and Resets the form

2- "Add Page" Button: Submits form, but retains the values of the submitted form so that the next form you submit could have the exact same values of the previous form.

I am currently using this for the "Add Page" button:

SubmitForm(frmAddReport);
Notify("New Page Added", NotificationType.Success);
Patch('Report Records', frmAddReport.Updates)

but I am facing a very weird issue that I can't understand.

This is exactly what is happening:

1- I login to the report page, the login button resets the form

2- when I proceed to add fields in the data and then click on "Add Page" the fields are filled with an old record instead of the last submitted one

This only happens on the first time I add new values for the first time. If I change the values from the wrong returned record to what I want and then click on Add Page again, it retains the values that I actually submitted last.

Any workaround for this? I don't exactly understand what is going on

Notes: I want anyone who presses the login button to find an empty form, so I'm setting the login button OnSelect to reset the form.

What is the forms value in the property default item?

Also, do you wan't it to reset the form, or do you want the last submited record to be defaulted just to be clear? 🙂

the form item property is based on what's selected in a gallery, but the people who add the reports have no access to that gallery. Is that what's causing the issue?

Also, think of it as a session. If I'm an employee who wants to submit multiple reports that have slight differences only, I will click on add page to retain the same values so I won't have to retype everything, when I am done I will log out and reset the form, so when another employee uses the platform they find an empty report and add their own data, and when they click on add page it'll retain THEIR data and not return the last thing I submitted instead.
