I have never used powerapps before so bit of a noob

I am using a template called inventory management which has a excel sheet called products, although im not sure how to edit the sheet to add my own products. Is this possible or am i just stupid? I cannot find a place to download it.

Have you checked the App Details > Connections screen?  Mine shows nothing but I wonder if yours does.

Yeah when I go to that section I get the same message (No Connections)

Hi @NathanH99 ,

The reason why you met this problem is that your template uses "imported from excel" as data source", not onedrive or others.

"Imported to Excel" means that this data has been imported into this app.For another words, you could see it as a kind of embed data.

If it is connected with one drive, when you create the template app, it will ask for your permission of One drive.

After you create this template app successfully, the excel file will be saved in One drive's PowerApps folder, like this:

You could try AssetCheckout template, this is one template that uses one drive as data source.

While in your issue, the template uses "imported from excel" as data source. It's not supported to download this file directly.It is a kind of read-only data.

If you want, you could firstly save this Excel's data as a collection, then create an excel with the same fields name, use the collection to update your Excel file.

For example:

1)ClearCollect(test,Product)

2)create an excel file with these fields name: 

3)update your excel with this collection data:

Collect(yournewexcel,test)

Please do not forget to connect your app with your new excel file before you update your new excel file.

I already solved this by starting from a blank canvas and building a app by linking my onedrive with a excel sheet in.

Thanks for the response though if i hadnt already solved it, this would of been very useful.

I don't understand one step, I have create my excel data with the same fields, how can I import it in my app ? Then, when I tap the formula of the third step there is a problem ...
