Export to excel from PowerApps form control on a click of button.

Hi,

I am finding a solution for exporting my PowerApps form data to excel file directly on a click of button. I researched about it but I am unable to find a direct solution. Mostly, the solutions available are exporting to csv format from a gallery control. I want directly from the form screen using power automate flow or any other way. 

Looking forward to any solution.

Since here is a forum focusing on Power Apps, I would provided a solution based on Power Apps.

If you use a form to export data to Excel file, I need to tell you that you could only operate on single record at one time.

You need to set the OnSuccess property of the form as below:

Patch(Table1,Defaults(Table1),{Feld1:Form1.LastSubmit.Field1,Field2:Form1.LastSubmit.Field2,Field3:Form1.LastSubmit.Field3,...})

Note that you should have configured columns for this Table1 and connect your canvas app to the OneDrive connector. This solution does not support SharePoint connector.

Just a quick question. the solution you provide is exporting all the SharePoint/table data to excel. Is there a way we can export only 1 items data on submit of form in PowerApps?

Populate the form with your list data, and submit it to save to the Excel file?

Where do you store this excel file, SharePoint site or OneDrive?

No, Actually I have a form in PowerApps. and on submit it is patching data to a sharepoint list. I want that for each submit of form all the data insde the form to be converted into excel file and saved into the document library.

I am confused now, I asked that if you want to export the data from SharePoint list to excel file?

What you said means that you want to save the data in the form(populated with SP list) to the excel file stored on SharePoint library, did I get it wrong?

Just tell me:

1). What data you used to populate the form?

2). Submit form to save data to excel file on SharePoint library, right?

on form control the data source is sharepoint list and ion submit of form it is being patched to same sharepoint list. Only thing with that i need that the same form data to be exported to excel file and that excel file to be saved to a sharepoint library.

Am i making any sense ? if you are still not clear please do tell. Thankyou for your response.
