Hi all,
I am looking to add in gallery a filter column AB which is (optionset value column) where I need to filter Yes values from AB column for only few users like john xxx, tom ccc etc. I created AB column in userlist table with Yes for the intended users. I am using code as AB in Filter(coluserlist,'Primary Contact Name'=User().FullName=john xxx).AB but is showing error in formula, where for rest of the users should show both (Yes and No)values. Can someone help me in this please.
@BCBuizer can you please look into this which is continuation of Filtering the data based on current user name,
Many Thanks,
Sai

Hi @Sai47 ,
So it seems you wish to apply the same conditions to Datasource as well:
Search(
Filter(
Datasource,
IsBlank(ABDrop.Selected.Result) || 'AB' = ABDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(MADrop.Selected.Result) || 'MA' = MADrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(KVDrop.Selected.Result) || 'KV’ = KVDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(SPDrop.Selected.Result) || 'SP' = SPDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(PDrop.Selected.Result) || 'P' = PGroupDrop.Selected.Result,
AB.Yes || User().FullName in userlist.<EXEMPTUSERFULLNAME?>
'MA' in Filter(
userlist,
'primary name column' = user().FullName,
AB.Yes || User().FullName in <EXEMPTUSERFULLNAME?>,
).MA
),
SearchBox.Text,
"Itemdescp",
"ProdID"
);
In my test, items 1,2 and 4 were returned:
Please let me know if this is headed in the right direction.
Hi @Sai47
Try this formula,
Filter(coluserlist, 'Primary Contact Name' = User().FullName && AB = "Yes")
Thanks!

Hi @Sai47 ,
An issue I spot is that you are using two equals operators which will cause type issues.
In case you want to makes sure that the user has the selected value in the AB column set to "Yes", you can add a second condition to the existing filter:
Search(
Filter(
Datasource,
IsBlank(ABDrop.Selected.Result) || 'AB' = ABDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(MADrop.Selected.Result) || 'MA' = MADrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(KVDrop.Selected.Result) || 'KV’ = KVDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(SPDrop.Selected.Result) || 'SP' = SPDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(PDrop.Selected.Result) || 'P' = PGroupDrop.Selected.Result,
'MA' in Filter(
userlist,
’primary name column’=user().FullName,
AB.Value = "Yes"
).MA
),
SearchBox.Text,
"Itemdescp",
"ProdID"
);
Please bear in mind this will return no items in case the current user has the value of the AB column set to "No".
Hi @Sai47 ,
It seems the formula would be:
Filter(coluserlist,('Primary Contact Name'=User().FullName && AB.Yes) || 'Primary Contact Name' in UsersCollection)
//UsersCollection contains all the users like ["john xxx", "tom ccc", "jane zzz"]

Thanks for the response , if I add the second condition AB,"Yes" within filter it is not giving only yes value whereas giving both values. when I add AB after this filter condition, I am getting yes values for myself as user when testing ,. MA in filter(userlist,'primary contact name'=user().Fullname).MA && AB
But needed for only few users , not for complete users in userlist table. So is there a possiblity for IF condition after MA filter condition.
Thanks for response,I am assuming it is not working with AB column in userlist table when I tried. Also it need to filter only few users not all the users in primary contact name column.
Thanks for response, I need the AB,"yes" only for few users not for all the users in primary contact name column. Though when I keep like this it is giving both the values not "yes".
Hi @Sai47 ,
To confirm: AB is a column in userlist, not Datasource, correct? If so, the below should be doing the job.
Search(
Filter(
Datasource,
IsBlank(ABDrop.Selected.Result) || 'AB' = ABDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(MADrop.Selected.Result) || 'MA' = MADrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(KVDrop.Selected.Result) || 'KV’ = KVDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(SPDrop.Selected.Result) || 'SP' = SPDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(PDrop.Selected.Result) || 'P' = PGroupDrop.Selected.Result,
'MA' in Filter(
userlist,
'primary name column'=user().FullName,
AB.Yes
).MA
),
SearchBox.Text,
"Itemdescp",
"ProdID"
);
If it doesn't can you please provide a sample of the returned data and indicate which records you expect to be filtered out?
Sorry for confusing. AB is a column in datasource which I also added in userlist for testing purpose. AB"Yes" should be filtered only for few users "john","tom" etc not for all users in primary name column. For example myself as user without keeping AB filter I am getting 106values, while I keep AB"Yes" I should get 89values .
Thanks
Hi @Sai47 ,
Thanks for clarifying. Assuming the full names of the people that should be exempt from the AB.Yes condition are stored in coluserlist, the below should do the trick:
Search(
Filter(
Datasource,
IsBlank(ABDrop.Selected.Result) || 'AB' = ABDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(MADrop.Selected.Result) || 'MA' = MADrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(KVDrop.Selected.Result) || 'KV’ = KVDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(SPDrop.Selected.Result) || 'SP' = SPDrop.Selected.Result,
IsBlank(PDrop.Selected.Result) || 'P' = PGroupDrop.Selected.Result,
AB.Yes || User().FullName in coluserlist,
'MA' in Filter(
userlist,
'primary name column'=user().FullName,
).MA
),
SearchBox.Text,
"Itemdescp",
"ProdID"
);
