Gallery Filtering Using ComboBox Multiselect Option - Matching Filter Syntax

Hello, I am working with a dataset that describes the schedule for some tasks. One entry in the dataset lists out what days of the week this task occurs on. I am displaying this schedule dataset on a vertical gallery (hiding other info in the dataset for privacy reasons).

I have setup a multiselect ComboBox to filter the gallery with. I want to be able to select specific days of the week in the ComboBox Multiselect and be shown all tasks that occur at least on one of the selected days (don't have to occur on all of the selected days).  I have generated the individual day entries of the ComboBox using this line : Distinct(TrimEnds(Split(Concat(Distinct(Table2,'Schedule Days').Result,Result,","),",")),Result), where Table 2 is my datasource and 'Schedule Days' is the field within it that lists out all the days a task runs on. 

Right now, my filter only shows me tasks that run on one day of the week. That is, when I select 'Tue' and 'Mon' in the filter, I am only shown tasks that only run on either Monday or Tuesday. I think this is because my filter is taking my filter selection and looking for exact matches for the options within the 'Schedule Day' field, when I want soft matches/'contains' matches to achieve my result of showing any task that runs on at least one of the selected days. I have looked at the match/ismatch functions but run into a lot of datatype issues given that my filter selection result is represented as a table. 

This is my current filter line : If(IsEmpty(ComboBoxDays.SelectedItems), true,!IsEmpty( Filter(TrimEnds(Split(Text('Schedule Days'),",")),'Schedule Days' in ComboBoxDays.SelectedItems) ))

I created a very basic collection based on your data:

Thanks for your responce! As I mentioned in my post, I want the filter to show results that occur on at least one of the selected choices. So for example, at the start of your demo, when you select "Mon", I would want the gallery to show : "Mon" (it currently shows this) and {"Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri", "Mon, Wed"}, as these are all entries that occur on Mondays. Is there a way to do this? This would be similar to the Contains option of the IsMatch function. All these three entries contain "Mon" so I want them displayed

This option seems to be throwing the same error I had initially. When I select something like "Mon" in the combobox, only entries that occur once a week on just Mondays pop up. I want all entries that occur at least on any one of the selected days to pop up. So even if I selected just Monday, I would want an entry occurring on all days of the week (which includes Monday) to be included.

I found a workaround that resolved my issue. I was able to use the isMatch function inside the Filter function by breaking down each soft match case for every day of the week and using the OR operator. This solution made it so all the tasks that happened on at least one of the selected days would come up in the gallery whenever just the Monday option was selected.
