Gallery and when search is empty all filtered users are filled

Hi,

I'm new to PowerApps and made a telefoonbook for our company that search the users given in a text box (TextInput1) for enabled accounts in Belgium and Netherlands. This works well.

Syntax:

Sort(Filter(Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:TextInput1.Text});Country = "Belgium" && AccountEnabled || Country = "Netherlands" && AccountEnabled);DisplayName;SortOrder.Ascending)

This one is empty when started.

Now what I want, if there is nothing put in the serachbox that all the filtered users (for enabled accounts in Belgium and Netherlands.) are displayed as default until searchbox is filled with text.

Attached empty form and one with my name filled for the look feeling 🙂

Yes, I understand the question - here is my test using another filter with the Text box empty

Thanks for your picture, that's strange!
You are using the same but you get it filled and I'm getting an empty result. Maybe an option somewhere?

Just removed part of the filter with the countries in it

&& (Country = "Belgium" || Country = "Netherlands")

and now it's displaying all data!
Can you or someone help me out so it also works with countries filtered and displaying all data  🙂

Getting stranger and stranger, now I tried only to filter on country "France" and then it's displaying all France people. Change it to only Belgium or only Netherlands and it is empty 🙄 getting confused!

I put Country into a couple of my users and am now getting the same thing as you - will not show anything unless there in input in the Text Box.

I suspect it is a limitation of the query function on this Filter - there is no other structure that I know of to make this query other than the one you are using.

Thanks, that's a shame.

But I was thinking, we have in Azure AD a group called "SIG-BX-ActiveUsers-AAD" with .id "539cfb89-9d31-41fc-a414-1cb8b5f9abac" and there are the people already on country filtered.

Can we use this group to do the trick?
So, I only have to filter on accountEnabled 🙂

Can you help me out with that?
