Gallery parent data

Hi, every time i select the "parent" of a gallery, it shows me the first item of the gallery instead the one i pressed on.

if i go back and select the row again, i see the one i really wanted. It happens in 2 different apps.

Once selected, i navigate to a different screen and display all kind of specific info using ThisItem.(value).

Can someone assist?

Are you displaying it in a Gallery or a form.

If a form, then on the Items property of the form put: GalleryName.Selected

If you want to display on another Gallery, then your second Gallery2 items put:

Filter (Tablename,ID=Gallery.Selected.ID

Do you mean that the selected row will not display the gallery's selected row, but the first row at the beginning?

I've made a similar test but not met the same problem. My selected row could display the gallery's selected row at the benginning.

Here's my test, please refer this to see whether you made any mistake:

1)gallery's Items:

list1

arrow's OnSelect inside the gallery:

Navigate(Screen2)

 2)In screen2, insert an edit form, set the edit form's data source: list1

set the edit form's Item:

Gallery1.Selected

Then the edit form will display the gallery' s selected row.

If you do not made any mistake, please show me your settings about the gallery and the selected row.

You could also try to update your browser to the latest version, clear the browser's cache or try other browsers.

Thanks for the reply!

i'm not using an edit form but a second gallery to show the complete IT ticket and user info (all from the same SP list).

This weird mishap only happens the first time the app is started, after you click the row, go back and click again, everything works just fine..

this is the "on select" action taken:Select(Parent);Navigate(SelectedCall,ScreenTransition.Fade).

I've made another test but still not met the same problem.

Could you check the settings about the second gallery and the app's OnStart property?
