Generate a PDF of multiple selected list items in SharePoint

Hello, 

I have a sharepoint list and I would like to print multiple Items in one PDF Document. I was able to make a flow with Power Automate, but with that I can only print one list item. 

Does anyone know a solution for this issue?

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can use the Set function alone first to generate the JSON string and get it in the Label, paste to your flow in order the complete and save it, then add the flow in your App.

So I have to connect the Button with the text label that when I press the button the JSON is shown in the text label? If so, how do I link the button to the text?

Thank you so far for your support in this case. I am painfully trying to get this done but I am stumbling from problem to problem, and I can´t get it to work. I am new to PowerApps that’s why I have got so many questions.

What I have done so far:

I created the Flow in Power Automate how you showed it. I can´t save the flow because the Parse JSON Action is not allowed to be empty. The name of the Flow is PowerAPP.

Now, looking at Power Apps:

I have inserted a gallery, connected it with my list from SharePoint. So, I can see my list elements.

Then I have inserted a button. Where it says OnSelect I inserted the function Set(var21;JSON(Plan;IgnoreBinaryData)). I deleted the part with ;; ‘PowerApp’.Run(var21) due to the error message that has appeared.

In the next step I have inserted a Label. From your explanation the JSON Sample should be shown in the Label. Unfortunately, this doesn’t happen, when I press the button in the preview mode (pressed the play button on the top right corner to test the app)

What am I doing wrong? I can´t find anything that explains me how to set the button to the label that the label shows me the JSON sample.

Is it possible to get a quick support in Teams? I have the feeling this issue could be resolved within minutes to have the working App.

You need to go through my original reply step by step without ignoring any sentence and screenshot. OnSelect of the Gallery was creating a collection with the selected item, you need to get this collection before clicking the other button to create JSON string.

I have done everything step by step but it seams not to work. 

I created the collection in the on select of the gallery.

So now you will need to:

1. Remove the flow.run from the button.

2. Click Gallery items to generate the collection "Plan".

3. Click the button to generate the variable "var21". Now you will be able to see JSON string of the variable in the Label. Label's Text property is the variable "var21".

4. Copy and Paste to your flow Parse JSON step JSON schema template.

5. Save the flow.

6. Refresh the flow in Power Apps, add to the button.

Regarding Step 2 Click Gallery items to generate the collection "Plan". What do you mean with that?

Hi @Anonymous ,

You have Collect(Plan;ThisItem) OnSelect of the Gallery, so you need to have at least one record in the collection to convert to JSON and use the converted JSON string as the template to generate the JSON schema. So just select any item of the Gallery to generate the collection.

Nothing happens when I click on a list item.
