@Samaher ,

It is the structure I use on almost every one of my Gallery/Form sets. You are setting a Record Variable I called gblRecord (you can call it whatever you want) OnSelect of each gallery (the most recent selected will be in the Variable). Your Form Item then looks up the SharePoint list for the record by matching the ID with this field in gblRecord (which contains all fields in the selected Record). If you want a simpler version, do this OnSelect

Set(gblID, ThisItem.ID)

then the Item of the Form

LookUp(
   SPListName,
   ID = gblID
)

It worked with the folllowing;

Icon Onselect of each Gallery

Set(
varSelectedItemID,
ThisItem.ID
);
Navigate(
EditFormname,
ScreenTransition.Cover,
{ItemID: varSelectedItemID}
)

EditForm Item Property;

LookUp(
'DataSource',
ID = varSelectedItemID
)

@Samaher - on the OnSelect property of your Arrow Icon, use:

Navigate(
    'Your Form Screen',
    ScreenTransition.None,
    {varSelection: ThisItem}
);
ViewForm(Form1)

In the Item property of your Form, use:

varSelection

Another method using a Global variable:

On the OnSelect property of your Arrow icon, use:

Set(
    varSelect,
    ThisItem
);
Navigate(
    'Your Form Screen',
    ScreenTransition.None
);
ViewForm(Form1)

In the Item property of your Form, use:

varSelect

Hi @Samaher ,

Responding as you tagged me - firstly I assume you are using SharePoint here. If you set a Variable OnSelect of each Gallery

Set(gblRecord, ThisItem)

Then the Item of the Form is

LookUp(
   SPListName,
   ID = gblRecord.ID
)

The reason I promote this structure as distinct from simply using the gallery selected item as a Record Variable (which will work in most cases) is that you are constantly directly querying the data source and the form will dynamically refresh and always show the current state of the record.

Thank you for the reply Warren, Yes I am building the app based on SP list,

I tried the above string but i did not work...

I have updated Onselect property of the icon in each gallery with the below

Set(gblRecord, ThisItem)

and then update the from (Item property) with the below

LookUp(
   SPListName,
   ID = gblRecord.ID
)

and honestly i don't understand the logic of the first part, how we are setting the variable and using it onselect in the same step,, could you please give more illustration and where i did it wrong?
note; i have updated my sharepoint list name in item string so i don't think this is related.

Thanks

I think i miss something,,, Onselect should be defined to Icon (arrow) or the gallery itself, and if its the gallery onselect, how can i make the arrow responsive to show the details of the item selected ? Until now no one is working Galleries.png

@Samaher ,

The arrow > will work if it is on the gallery record you want to display. Can you please take a moment to read the explanation I posted - you also need to make the Item of the Form also the code provided.

I have tried multiple times, but it is not working
Galleries on select > Set(GALCODE,ThisItem)
item of the form > LookUp('MYLIST',ID=GALCODE.ID)

Thank you

@Samaher ,

The structure is correct. If you put GALCODE.ID on a Label, do you see the ID of the record you want to display ? Also I assume the DataSource of the Form is 'MYLIST'
