HTML text - invalid number of arguments

Hello - I am seeking to use a html text input to create a pdf from two power apps collections using the power automate action. My problem is that if I try to add more than one table to the html code I get the error "invalid number of arguments; received 2, expected 1" - so it seems my code may be the problem? I'm reaching out to see if anyone could check this code for me to see where the issue may lie (or if it's elsewhere). Thanks. As follows:-

As you can see, there are 7 tables in this design.

- vLastTermSubmit is a record variable set OnSuccess of a Form Submit

- colPropertyReturned is a collection built using Split() from vLastTermSubmit and represents any property returned by the employee

- vTermCompPosition and vTermCompDate are just some other variables set OnSuccess of the Form Submit

I cannot see where your error is. Maybe copy the code into a Text Editor, delete the HTML Text control, re-add a new one and copy the code into that one and see what happens?

If my response solves your question, please accept as a solution.
Thank you!

@ThenewThom

You can definitely add more than 1 table, I've done this many times. The error is likely a " in the wrong spot or a missing &? The other thing to check is if any of your data is a Record and needs a .Value (or similar) added.

I couldn't see an error with a quick check, sorry

Thank you!

Thanks EddieE - good to know someone has this working. To help me troubleshoot this, are you able to share an example of the html text for more than one table which you have working in Power Apps so I can compare? Regards, T

@ThenewThom

Probably won't help because I ran your code with just using some data I have and it renders fine. I think the issue is somewhere in either your collection/s or the fields you are referencing inside your Concat().

I would start with the fields with verbose names like 'Overall results and explanatory notes' and check whether these should be written like this

Overall_x0020_results_x0020_and_x0020_explanatory_x0020_notes

ie, check whether you have selected the correct column naming via the intellisense options.

Other than than, there maybe a stray character either at the very top or very bottom of your HTML code that you haven't supplied/spotted?

Thank you!

Thanks for looking at this again. I'm fairly sure it's not those verbose names as they work fine when I have one table in the html text - the problem arises when I add in another table to the html text. Hence my suspicion it's the html code.

This single table code executes the power automate just fine:

"<html>
<head>
<style>
table {
border-collapse: collapse;
width: 100%;
}

th, td {
text-align: left;
padding: 8px;
}

h1{color:#4CAF50;}

tr:nth-child(even){background-color: #f2f2f2}

th {
background-color: #4CAF50;
color: white;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<H1>ME Summary Report: " & ddPlanName_1.Selected.Result & " " & ddDate.Selected.Value & "</H1>
<table>
<tr><th>KPI group</th>
<th>Effectiveness</th>
<th>Comment</th></tr>
" & Concat(
HomeGallery.AllItems,
"<tr><td>" & KPI_groupnote & "</td><td>" & EffectivenessText & "</td><td>" & 'Overall results and explanatory notes' & "</td></tr>"
) & "

</Table>
</Body>
</HTML>
"
