Help please - Can't see all rows in a list

Hi all

I've inherited an app from a colleague who's left the organisation and I'm a Power apps newbie.

We've got a gallery that pulls from a Microsoft List (an asset inventory). There are over 2000 rows. I've tried pulling straight from the list and using a collection, but I can't get it to show me all the rows. If I try searching for the Title (our unique number) some of them don't appear. I'm not sure if this is because of the 2000 row limit or, as I've seen in other posts, something wrong with the code on the gallery. I know this isn't pretty, but it kind of works. The .value entries are for our drop down lists in the List:

If anyone can point me in any direction to sort (better code or just telling me straight it can't be done) I'd appreciate it. I'd ideally like the search box to act as a "search all" box rather than just a specific column. I've tried a combo box but failed abysmally.

Sorry for the delay, I haven't touched this for a while.

I've attached pictures. The black blobs are just hiding the company name. Everything is referencing the Sharepoint list. I'd ideally like a couple more dropdowns and for the results to filter as more drop downs are picked.

The data types for those columns are picked from a list

To set the Items properties of the Dropdowns, don't copy-paste everything I wrote, but like the below example:

Ah I see, sorry. As mentioned, I'm new to PowerApps.

So I've got the Make drop down without error now, but still have an error on the Device Type:

Still nothing displaying in the gallery. Thanks again for your help

I retyped it and it's working now. Both drop down are showing what they should be, but the gallery is still empty

Thanks for that, I used your code and it was still blank, but the formula fix thing (is that new?) changed it to this and it's showing things:

Apologies for the formatting, it's how PowerApps did it.

The issues I have at the moment:

I don't have the option to have 'no selection' from the dropdowns. Is there a way to have it blank by default?

It's still not displaying all of the rows in the sharepoint list. Got a lot of rows not displaying

Hi @TBut,

Not sure what formula fix thing you are referring to.... It just seems to complicate the formatting of the formula, but not really adding anything.

If you want to add a blank option to the dropdown, use the below example for the Items property of the DropDown:

The formula fix thing appeared as a red dot on the fx button on the left of the formula bar. It suggested a fix and I simply clicked apply and it did the above and started showing things in the gallery.

Do you know why all my rows aren't showing?

Hi @TBut,

As far as I can see, you should be seeing all items if the searchbox and both dropdowns are all blank. Do you receive any delegation warnings on the code for the items property of the gallery?

What you can do to fully exclude delegation as a possible cause is to lower the Data Row Limit to a low number, like 3. If you see more than 3 items, delegation is working fine and the cause must be somewhere else.

You can change the Data Row Limit by clicking on Settings, General and then scroll down to the Data Row Limit: 

The default value is 500 and can be set to any value between 1 and 2000.
