How to Filter for Only User Content in App

Good day Power Apps Community,

I'm trying to build a simple app that allows staff to update a row of data.  When they open the app I want the gallery to only display items they are assigned (Task Assigned To) in a SharePiont List.  Given it's the same column type as Created By, I thought this would be simple....but no luck yet. 

Items:

SortByColumns(Filter([@'ODGT Portfolio Tracker'], StartsWith(Project, TextSearchBox1_1.Text), 'Created By'.Email = User().Email),"Project", If(SortDescending1, Descending, Ascending))

When applying the same approach using my Task Assigned To (Assigned To) column, which is the same Person/Group column in the SharePoint list, this is what I get.  

I tried the solution linked below and about 2 dozen others, but still no luck.  Any help would be appreciated.

Please check the "Assigned To" column settings. Is the allow multiple selection set to Yes ?

If so please change it to No, refresh the connection to sharepoint and check again.

I'm afraid you cannot avoid delegation warning directly. 

Depending on your scenario, you can solve the problem using a collection for the filtered result based on other conditions than person assignment and after that to filter locally this collection. 

On Change property of the text input should look like:

ClearCollect(
      filteredProject, 
      If(Len(Self.Text)<3,
         Blank(),
         Sort(
             Filter([@'ODGT Portfolio Tracker'],StartsWith(Project, TextSearchBox1_1.Text)),
             Project, 
             If(SortDescending1, Descending, Ascending)
         )
)

and the gallery items property will be:

Filter(filteredProjects, User().Email in 'Assigned To'.Email)

I expect that you'll have a large number of projects and that's why I add an if clause that limits the queries to Sharepoint server until the user type at least 3 chars. (the number of chars can be set based on your needs).
