How to get Sharepoint attachment permanent URI and set as a value for a column

I am using a basic template that allows me to create an entry to a SharePoint list.<br />I want to have the user be able to upload ana attachment but then as they upload it, the attachment link is then automatically added to one of the Columns. As seen in screenshot I have manually copied the attachment link and added it to the Image colour

I can tell you that there is no automation in SharePoint to do this.

Do you only attach single one image file to new SP List Item through the Attachments control?

Do you want to populate the Image column with Attachment link when you submit your form data successfully?

The Attachment Link of the attached file within the Attachments control would be generated only when you submit your form data back to your SP List successfully.

If you want to get the Attachment Link of the attached file once you attached a file in your Attachments control, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps.

As an alternative solution, I think the Patch function and OnSuccess property of the Edit form could achieve your needs. Please consider set the OnSuccess property of the Edit form to following:

Patch(
      'Your SP List', 
       EditForm1.LastSubmit, 
       {
         Image: First(EditForm1.LastSubmit.Attachments).AbsoluteUri
       }
);
Back()

When you submit your form data successfully, the OnSuccess property of the Edit form would be fired, and the Patch function would be executed to patch the Attachment Link of the image file to the Image field in your SP List.

Thank you for the useful reply, that did indeed work!

I had done a small flow that worked on item entry and would change the attachment entered to a link as the list is updated.
This might be a bit cleaner however.

It was more of a both question, I wanted to edit the sharepoint in powerapps.

I thought there was no built in automation. So I ended up just utilising a flow, and the other Commenter showed me the patch method which also worked. Thank you for your time
