How to refresh the attachments at editscreen

My powerapps datasource base on sharepoint list.

Please see the gif i upload. When i edit one row of the list on the powerapps. And upload new file and submit the row. Then i browse back to the row edit screen. I can't find the attachment i have just uploaded. But if i visit another row first and then back to the row i just edit. Then will display the file which i just uploaded. What is the problems for this ? Is that bug?

What i want is when i upload a new file and submit.,I don't need to visit another row and just back to the row i just edit directly. The attachments will show on the edit screen.

And i have added the Refresh(Datasource) for submit buttom and navigate code and OnVisible code.  But all of them can't fix this bug.

Hi, 

I created a similar scenario and it works fine for me. So I am wondering how you have defined the following:

1. OnSelect is for the Submit button

2. Item property of the form

3. OnSelect property of the > arrow in your Gallery

Here are my values:

1. Screen48 is my gallery screen

SubmitForm(EditForm3);Navigate(Screen48)

2. BrowseGallery13 is my Contacts gallery

BrowseGallery13.Selected

3. Screen49 is my form screen

Select(Parent);Navigate(Screen49)

I saw your GIF, You did achieve what I wanted.

But when i follow your setting, i doesn't work. The Gif enclosed will show my setting, Can you help me see where my problem lies?

If you go back to that record after some time without clicking on any other record, does it show the attachment? Just trying to figure out if it's a timing issue or it needs another row to refresh.

Hi Hardit,

After I uploaded the attachment, I went to the browse interface and waited for 5 minutes without clicking other rows. Then click in the row i just uploaded, and the recently uploaded attachment is still not displayed.

But when I come back to other rows, it will show up.

The bug still here. It seems to have nothing to do with the upload time.

Let's try one more thing.

Assuming your entity or data source name is DataSource1 and your unique column is ID and your form's item property is Gallery1.Selected, replace the item property of the form to:

LookUp(DataSource1, ID = Gallery1.Selected.ID)

This way we are forcing the form to fetch the record every time a user gets to the form. May be this will fetch the latest attachments every time.

Thank you! This helped me end an hour of tearing my hair out over an attachments upload form that didn't want to show me newly attached files.
