How to relate columns of 2 different entities in PowerApps

I'm trying to create a view which brings elements of multiple entities (imported from Oracle and IBM DB2) into one spot. We then need to run actions off of this view, which I'm planning to do through a Model-driven app. 

In Power BI, I'm able to simply create relationships between columns of different tables of different databases. I can then create a table visualization which brings data from the tables into one view. How can I do this in PowerApps? I'm very confused with the "entity relationships" options, as it does not let me specify the fields to relate.

For example, I have a parent field in entity 1 (Oracle). In entity 2, I have children of that parent field. I'd like to create one PowerApps view that lets me see the parent field in one column and children field in the next column.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your Oracle entity(A) is the Parent Entity, and the IBM entity(B) is the child entity, you need to create a 1 to Many relationship from A to B. You can create a lookup column in B, which references A. this will automatically create the relationship for you. Then you need to create a View on B, and add the lookup column to the view.

@Edwin-Abdalian I just did this, but when adding the lookup field to the view, there is no data in the lookup field. How does PowerApps know which columns to relate?

If you are creating a Canvas App, try Reza’s suggestion and use the Relate function. But I thought you are building a Model-Driven app.

What you want to accomplish is not that easy. Since you have already imported your data, relating the info is challenging but still doable. If you could delete the data and reimport the entities, I would suggest you to use Data Import tool of CDS.

But now that you have already imported the data, you need a Flow to update the lookup value.

I have an Office entity (Entity B) which is my parent Entity, and I have an Employee entity (Entity A) which is my child entity. My assumption is that I know for sure that the relationship between B and A is One to Many.  This means that for a given employee, I can only lookup 1 office record. The common field between these two entities is the State field.

I created a flow to update the Office Lookup field in the child records by matching the State field in entity A and B.
