How to set DefaultSelectedItems property of combobox and filter the gallery

Hi All,

I have a collection which is having the ID;s of country with name "ColDistinctCountryID". I want to pre populate the values in multiselect combobox which are coming in this collection. Now issue which i am facing is my combobox is populated with country name and i am having ID in my collection. I have a different table from which i can map the ID's of countries to its country name. So any one can please help me in either setting DefaultSelectedItems property of combobox or in help me in populating country name and then setting DefaultSelectedItems  property of multi select combobox

Hello, @ridhan , You will need to use a Lookup function in the DefaultSelectedItems Property. The Lookup function should return the country as a result. Then put the whole Lookup Function between square brackets []

Hi @AhmedSalih - lookup will work if i have one record in my collection but how it will work if i have multiple record in collection . Example

Collection having data:     

Table having data from which i need to map country name

Then need to show the countrioes which come in collection in defalutselecteditems of combobox

Hope i am able to explain my propblem.

Hi @AhmedSalih , I am able to find the country name in my collection now. But now issue is that if i am using that new collection with below fields in defaultselecteditems, i am not able to filter the

Hello, @ridhan, in the DefaultSelectedItems Property, use this formula:

)

Hi @AhmedSalih - I have used the above code provided by you but unable to populate value in combobox. Please see below snippet:

Combobox-

Items property- classification_class_header_test (this is a table from which i am using "class_description" column in combobonx.

Onchange property of combobox-

Hi @AhmedSalih - I am able to populate the defaultselecteditems of the combobox by using your guidance. But issue is whenever the defualtselecteditems get changed it is not filtering the below gallery.

code on chnage of combobox:
