You can use the SubmitForm function to submit the data that is in your form, then set the visibile variable to false so that the alert popup is hidden.
I can show you an example that I did.
I created a gallery and displayed the items. I added an edit icon which selects the parent and sets the form's visibility to true, like a popup.
Select(Parent);Set(popup,true);
I sent the visibility of the form to the above variable popup.
Then, set the form's data to gallery selected.
itemGallery.Selected
Now, after you update or don't you need two buttons, save or close.
For save, I used following syntax to save the data and close the popup.
SubmitForm(editform);Set(popup,false);
Make sure to set the visibility variable of both Save and Close buttons to popup.
Now similar formula for close button but no submit because we are not saving anything.
Set(popup,false)
Because the popup is set to false after form saves, the gallery automatically refreshes and shows the new data.
Cheers!
@Anonymous
You can user the alertbox as a form and then add the SubmitForm function in the save button.
This should work fine.
I am not sure what function and properties you are using in the given screenshot.
Please share more.
Cheers!
@narayan225 using forms for popup is ok fine, and how to update the details from the form popup in the gallery which is behind the popup without refreshing the datasource ‘on save ‘ of the popup?

Popup form shouldn’t contain values..it should be cleared or open as new (Popup is opening on a buttonclick).please advise the same.
Thanks @narayan225
@Anonymous
Can you explain what you are trying to achieve with the gallery and the popup form?
I am unsure what you are trying to do.
Cheers!
in a button I collect the current updation of a gallery
This is the save button of gallery
This is Gallery item.
My concern is on a “buttonclick”, an alert box should open containing blank fields, when entering any data to the fields should update one gallery without refreshing data source and save to list on save button
Thanks,
@Anonymous
Are you trying to create new record, store it in a collection named ColGridUpdates and patch to the gridTablePowerApp_Sample?
It is still confusing. Or do you have a gridTablePowerApp_Sample with items but only ID and no data. And you want to update those items with the popup using ColGridUpdates collection?
Let me know which one of these options are you trying to achieve?
Also, when you collect the updates, you are not collecting the id of the updated record. And when you are patching, you are not patching the record to the correct ID. You will need to use the patch function along with filter to find the record that has the same ID and then patch the columns.
Cheers!
