Image Control Shows the Wrong Image Despite Using the Right Link

Hey everyone!

Just like a lot of apps, my app also has an image control.

The image used is being fetched via a link from a sharepoint document library. 

The image control has no issue at all to show an image, however if fetches the wrong one. 

It can be checked, because when I open the same link in the browser itself, I get the correct image. This is really bizarre.

Is there a reason for this situation or just a bug? Something I should consider? 

The picture has been updated and shown in the span of less than 2 minutes. But also after 15 minutes it hasn't been updated to the correct version.

Questions first,

(1) When do you usually see this error, when editing mode or when the app is in published play mode?

     If in published mode, this might be some issue of cache. When publishing apps, it takes a while for the app to to render the latest published version. Sometimes you have to clear cache or close the browser to see the updated page.

(2) Are the links dynamically generated?

     Dynamic means you provide a SharePoint list to the app, and you set the rule on the image property to retrieve the URL from a specific field or specific set of codes.

     Manual means you manually type the URL of the code.

     If your answer to #2 is Manual, then this might be related to my explanation in #1.

     If your answer to #2 is Dynamic, then you will need to investigate the data source and how it is rendered.

2) Dynamic. Could you elaborate about investigating the render process? What does that mean? I use a lookup function filtering according to the right columns and values to retrieve the link. Might this give me any lead to start with?

I am relatively new to the power-platform, especially its delicate mechanics upon which its build. Slowly I shall learn what's allowed and what's not. Thanks for the help!

Also, I do think, it's just a matter of how the code is set to the images. Can you share the actual code to set your image source?

Yep, 

This runs when the screen is opened (OnVisible) and stores the link in the variable varTazImage

Afterwards, I just place the "varTazImage" inside the Image property of the Image Control
