Images in gallery are not displayed in Mobile PowerApps.

Dear All,

I have an app that stored capture/upload images in SharePoint library and save the images in SharePoint list as a hyperlink. I retrieved back the images in PowerApps by calling the hyperlink from the list. In my PowerApps, I have one screen that display images in gallery (retrieved the images from the list).

My problem here is the images are only display in PowerApps Studio, but when i open the app using mobile PowerApps, the images in the gallery are not showing.

Anyone have ideas to solve this issue?

I did not head down @v-siky-msft's  path of 'File name with extension' or even 'Folder path' as neither are Delegable and that is the error you are getting.

As I mentioned, we do tens of thousands of these in Libraries and display them on mobile devices and I was trying to establish your structure (which you have now told me) before offering a solution.

By far the easiest one is to store a unique reference in the Library identifying the photo as belonging to the "Parent" record. I use the ID number of the Parent and store this in a (numeric) field I call IDRef in the Library metadata. You could do this at the same time as you store the photo with JSON.

All you need then in your gallery is a Lookup referencing the items matching and then the Thumbnail reference works on both mobile devices and PCs.

The Picture is the Hyperlink column of the list, right? Have you changed the column name ever?

It seems you apply the formula to the image in the gallery, what is the Items property of Gallery?

@WarrenBelz 's idea is good, reference the file by LookUp column, rather than hyperlink column, then you can refer to the Thumbnail of file more easily. But this require to re-construct your list.

OMG sorry i didn't realize the gallery item property!! I actually try to do it on another gallery just for testing purpose.

Now, the issue is solved. The image already can be display in both mobile and PowerApp studio.

If you want to head down the Delegation limitation path and the photo you want is in the newest 2,000 photos (and you have your limit set to this), the below should work

Please help. I also have the exact same issue. I created an asset library for my images, copied image links to a sharepoint list which is the data source for my gallery.  Images are showing in powerapps and they were showing before on my mobile, but they stopped showing soon after I changed the the canvas from tablet to phone. The image icon is there but no image.
