IsBlank works the wrong way around

Hi all, 

I have the following problem:

My app has a form, which should only be submited when all fields have a value. The Submitform Button should only be visible when all fields meet the requirement. I use a

 If(Isblank(DatacardvalueXY);DisplayMode.Disabled;DisplayMode.Edit) 

function for the displaymode.

But the function works the wrong way arround. The Button is not visible when the Datacard has a value. 

When I change the function to

If(!Isblank(DatacardvalueXY);DisplayMode.Disabled;DisplayMode.Edit)

the button gets visible.

Can someone help me with this?

 If(IsBlank(DatacardvalueXY.Text);DisplayMode.Disabled;DisplayMode.Edit)

I'm sorry but, there's no differend result between DatacardvalueXY.Text and DatacardvalueXY.

I assumed the contents are a text value, in case of a dropdown you should modify accordingly.

Also note the proper case of IsBlank (capital B), PA is case sensitive.

yes it's text value, and the syntax is correct.

I don't get a error marker or message either.

So I tried this and had interesting results. If I just set the Visible property of a Button to IsBlank(TextInput) it works as expected - whether or not you add the .Text modifier. However, if you put that same expression in an If() it throws a warning. Oddly enough the warning is that it is expecting a true or false value - which is what it reports the output of the IsBlank is returning. I have to assume this is a bug. 

I would suggest for now you could put 2 Buttons in the same place on the form. One would be "greyed out" and have the !IsBlank() for the Visible property. The other Button would have IsBlank() in the Visible property and have a color to match your form. Then just put the code you need in the OnSelect of the regular one and nothing in the "grey" one.

Sorry - I just revisited this I made a mistake! I was in a hurry and put that If statement in the Visible property.

If you put the If in the Display Mode property it works correctly.

sorry for the late answer.

As you said, this should be a bug in the app. And because of this, I deleted the app and started from scratch, with annother solution.
