Leave Request app

 Good day,

I am currently trying to adopt the leave request app for my business, I have "made my own" app and had the onedrive excel file created. I am seeing the on start code for the vacation type collection, however, when I select new request I am not seeing the options available:

Hi @Penjilia ,

Do you create a canvas app in Phone Layout based on the Leave Request Template app?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, and the issue is confirmed on my side. I found that if I click "Make my own" button, the OnStart property of App would not be fired, so the LeaveTypeCollection would be empty. Therefore, you would not see options shown up in the NewRequestScreen.

As an fixed solution, please consider click "Run Start" option under the App control as below:

2.JPG

then the GalleryLeaveType would be populated with proper records as below:

3.JPG

Please try above solution, then check if the issue is solved.

@Penjilia ,

The LeaveTypeCollection collection of "NewRequestScreen" is designed to be set by OnStart of App.

It will be displayed by executing OnStart of App.

Please check it.
