Login issues to Mobile PowerApps App Android 6.0.1

Hello,

We are having issues at our company in regards to logging into the mobile app. The issues are somewhat inconsistent, the only discernable pattern that we have noticed has been that users within the United States are able to login to our federated service, but outside of the U.S. this has not been the case and that it is only happening on Android so far. I am not sure if it is coincidence or not, but that is the only consistency I have seen in regards to this.

 

The login issues are varied but all end the same way;

You put in your work email address in the initial email address field, then it will either cycle for a few seconds and immediately reload the same page you were just on or it will take you into the federated account page where it will ask for password input.

 

If you get to the password input screen, the non-US employees will input their password and then the screen will cycle and take them back to the initial email request screen when you first launch the app. We are using Azure and I believe our company has rolled out the account change globally at this point.

 

I do not believe this is account related because the users having issues logging into the app can login through the web portal.

If convenience, please provide your location information for a further investigation.
And also your Session ID. You could get your Session ID under:File>Account>Diagnostics>Session Details.
Please make sure your PowerApps version on your phone has been updated to the latest version.

Can you please clarify the steps for;

You could get your Session ID under:File>Account>Diagnostics>Session Details.

Where is file in Android? Is it under settings? I see session details when I login at the very bottom, how are they able to see session details if they cannot login?

Your users could login PowerApps studio for Web, on Web player, they could also get the Session ID at there with the same way.
Do your users have PowerApps studio for Windows? If they have one, please also help to clarify if they can login desktop studio without error.

They are located in India, I am testing with a different user now.

 

They tried logging in through Android and iOS with no luck, they could only get into the windows app.

We are still seeing this issue in Android version 7.0. Just wanted to give an update. This is happening in Samsung S7 Edge.

When using my work account, I am getting a sign in error, on multiple Andriod devices, with varying Andriod versions.

"Sign in with your work or school account"

 

I got through (no error) on browser an iphone and ipad.

 

Can any assist?

I'm getting the same issues with a Galaxy Tab A with Android 7.1.1. It was working last week until now.

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!   This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
