Lookup Emails but not use all in collection

Hi all,

I am trying to make this section of my app send an email to the email address chosen in the search text box. See images.

But the problem is when testing the app, it selects all contacts in the excel table or if you type in the text box it doesn't show any of the contacts in the excel file and shows a few random ones from somewhere.

Hi @rebhanqui ,

Do you want to filter the columns in excel that store user emails by text input? I don't see your filter function, but I have another generalized approach for you.

Set the items of control which is used to display filter result.

Search(TableName,TextInput.Text,"emailColumnName")

If that's not what you're looking for, I'd like you to describe your needs clearly.

Thanks for commenting. Basically what I need is a specific list of contacts (that i have in a table). So when typing in the email lookup (so user can select who to send the email to) it will filter through this specific list.

The problem I have is the MyPeople Collection doesnt have any emails I need and is not the one I want to use, unless I can edit the contacts that are in this collection but I cannot find how to edit this collection to add the ones I want in it. The MyPeople collection does not even reflect my outlook contacts lists so I am not sure what is happening or how to edit the code above.
