Merge multiple collection into One.

Hello Guys,

i am trying to avoid the delegation Problem and I also want to get a Workaround for the only 2 K max Data Entry limit for Collections.

I have a sharepoint list with over 2k Data entries.

This sharepoint list is like a Known Error Database.

I want that colleagues have access to this database from their phones.

They can search in this DB for errors which occurred in the past. Like a typical Known error Database.

So i want that they can filter for this sharepoint list as a database.

Problem if they filter they can get only 2k Max results on their phone.

So i try to create multiple collections local on the phone and then merge them together and then filter to avoid delegation problem and the max 2k Data entrie limit for collection:

so here is my code which dont work i dunno why. I searched for the internet didn't find a solution:

I am getting following error codes:

1. The Function "Concurrent" concludes false Arguments

2. DataChunk1 is not recognized

3. The Function "ClearCollect" concludes false Arguments

I am creating the collection in the App Screen OnStart.

I want to show the merged collection in a gallery and then filter on it for the desired Entries

I was inspired by this post:

I also know that there is another way to bypass the 2k entry limits result limits in filter:

I tried there to load all the sharepoint list prefiltered in a gallery which shows every data entry then use it again in a second gallery with a filter.

I think you need to use a comma ( , ) instead of using Semicolon ( ; )

like, ClearCollect(AllDataChunks, DataChunk1, DataChunk2, DataChunk3, DataChunk4)

The part that I've highlighted here at the end of Concurrent should contain a double semi-colon. ie, it should look like this:

);;

I've employed a collection in the following manner:

I'm retrieving all the data from the initial collection and transferring it to the ultimate collection.

Glad that worked. A single semi colon character separates the arguments that you pass to a function (eg, the values that you pass into Concurrent or ClearCollect).

To chain multiple functions (eg, to call ClearCollect after Concurrent), the correct syntax is to separate the function calls with double semi-colons.
