Microsoft365Users.UserPhotoV2 not showing up

Hi PowerApps community,

I want to display the user profile image by using Microsoft365User.UserPhotoV2(ThisItem.userEmail). However, nothing is displayed and there is an error message. "Microsoft365Users.UserPhotoV2 failed. The method UserPhotoV2 has an invalid value for parameter 'id. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

What is the DataSource of your Gallery?

Is UserMail a text column or a LookUp column?

The data is stored in a sharepoint list as a text column.

@bluehoodie, Microsoft365Users.UserPhotoV2() expects a User principal name or email id as a parameter. This parameter is required and its data type should be string. Please check below official documentation and change your formula accordingly:

The email address is stored as a string in sp list. If an email id = email address, it is reading the email address as a parameter but the profile picture is still not showing.

I've made a similar test and not met the same problem like your description.

Text column in sharepoint could be used as email id in this paramater.

I think the key point is the connector's name.

This connect has been renamed to Office365Users instead of Microsoft365Users.

So please set the image's Image to:

Office365Users.UserPhotoV2(ThisItem.userEmail)

What's more, please check whether you store the right email id in your sharepoint list, which exists in your talent.

You could use a label inside the gallery to check whether this email id is in your talent.

set the label's Text:

Office365Users.UserProfile(ThisItem.userEmail).Id

If it has data, then this email id is in your talent.

If it display as blank, then this email id is not in your talent.

Hi @v-yutliu-msft ,

I have changed it to Office365Users but I still face the same error message. I have also added the label text and the text is appearing but the profile pic is not appearing. You mentioned that if there is data, then the email id is in my talent. Can i check what does "talent" here refer to?
