Hello everyone,
I have the following formula under "Fill" in PowerApps:
If(STS="Yes",RGBA(166, 20, 25, 1),If(STS="No",RGBA(62, 96, 170, 1),RGBA(127, 178, 57, 1)))
It looks like it works just fine on the web editor, but when I open the mobile app on my device it shows all black. When I go back to the browser to edit the app again, I have an exclamation point on that text field and it tells me that the STS column doesn't exist, so I have to refresh the data from sharepoint and everything colors back up.
I don't know what is going on, or if I'm the one doing something wrong. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

So I figured it out, based on your idea to restart the app:
I decided to test the code on another formula to see if it was the coloring the issue or the code or the column so I did this:
It used to look like this:
CountIf('Pass Notes',Check_x0020_Out>=Today()-1,Theme="Geeks")
Now it looks like this:
CountIf('Pass Notes',Check_x0020_Out>=Today()-1,Theme="Geeks",STS="Yes")
When I added the STS column filter, the numbers stopped showing up on the iPhone app (even after I logged out and logged back into PowerApps), but would work on the web editor (after I manually refreshed the data), just like the color coding.
That showed me that the issue was the STS column itself. So I decided to create a new app based on the same SharePoint list to see if the STS column would come in and work, and it did!
So what I finally did was I disconnected SharePoint from my original app, saved, closed all of the web editor and the iphone app, then opened it again, and reconnected the SharePoint and... IT WORKED!!!!!!!
Thank you for brainstorming with me!
hpkeong,
Thank you for your response. I try adding the Refresh code you told me about, and I edited the IF statements, but neither did the trick.
It is very weird because when I refresh the SharePoint data in PowerApps the color coding works, but when I open the app on my iPhone or iPad it doesn't work at all.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you
HI
Truly sorry to hear that and weird.
While awaiting others and PG to response, please check on your iPhone:
- Connection Databse (click to details to view what connection?)
- Refresh the Apps and wish it is the LATEST ONE
If not, please log-out PowerApps from and log-in again to see what happens then.
TQ

Hi @Anonymous
Great to hear that finally you solved by your own effort.
Data connection and soem manipulation of the formula works can be hectic but worth to learn from error and in future apps, you will never be bette.
Thanks for sharing.
have a nice day.
