Native Save doesn't work on OOB SPO "Customize Forms" method.

When using the native "save" after creating a "Customize Form" on a Sharepoint list is does nothing.

Once in "Customize Form" mode in PowerApps only thing added are additional fields that were not added by powerapps by default.

Once fields are added, select New on the list, enter data, click save. NOTHING HAPPENS.

Do you use File >Save where you can put in notes on the version and then Publish?

I have never had this not work.

Sorry the Save and Publish works, it is when trying to add a new record the native save doesn't work.

I can get smaller lists to work but seems to be a list with maybe more than 7 columns will cause the save button to not work.

trying to repeat the build with different sized lists. 

Currently OOB build no changes but adding more fields to the power app
1 columns - native save works

2 columns - native save works
3 columns - native save works

11 columns - native save does not work 

16 columns - native save does not work

A bit strange - I have lists with 50+ columns where the SharePointIngration OnSave is simply SubmitForm(MyFormName) and have never had an issue - have you changed this?

Merely doing the defaults. not changes just customize form, add fields because by default once you get to 8-9 fields powerapps doesn't add them. Then Save and Publish.

Have tested with 11 fields of only single text types and works ok.

so now have to try and work out what type is causing the problem.

I tried 3 column list with manage metadata term that worked ok.

I just realised something that may be relevant. Almost all of my SharePoint Power Apps forms were developed first as standalone apps and simply copied and pasted in. If this is useful to you, the process is quiet easy.

1. Open the standalone app in Edit mode at the screen containing the form. (PA below)
2. Open the "Customize in Power Apps" screen from SharePoint in another window. (SP below)
3. Rename the SP form to whatever you have in PA
4. Delete the SP form
5. Select the PA form and Ctrl-C
6. Paste into SP screen Ctrl-V
7. Change the Item of the form to SharePointIntegration.Selected

and it all works including the Integration settings as the Form name matches.

So maybe you can test it all standalone and try the above.

A bit of an update - I just saw your latest post with all of the required fields - have you tried with the "required" removed?

This would be a good test to see if the problem lies here.

Do you mean that you could not use sharepoint custom form to update your list?

Firstly, I agree with @WarrenBelz . Try to remove the "required" settings.

Secondly, could you change your form to standard form and try to update?

I would like to know whether you have problems in your sharepoint list.

 Thirdly, did you make any customizations on your sharepoint custom form?

If you change any controls or settings on the default generated custom form, maybe you need to change the formulas about updating.

I need to know the changed fields' settings: control settings, datacards' Update.

Also, please check your SharePointForm1's OnEdit, OnSave, OnView properties.

Do not forget to save and publish your app when you finish editing this custom form.
