Need Help with Power Apps Search and Filter Delegation Warning

I'm new to using Power Apps. I've successfully built a search and filter feature, and it's delivering the expected results. However, the challenge is that I'm receiving a delegation warning from the system. I'm not entirely sure if I've made a mistake in my approach or if there's a way to manage or resolve this warning without compromising the functionality of my app.

Any quick tips or advice on resolving this warning or whether it can be safely ignored would be greatly appreciated.

If your data will not exceed 2,000 records, just open the setting and set delegation to 2000.

I already changed data row limit from 500 to 2000 but warning still display.

Hi @Sawanya_W delegation warnings mean that once the row limit for your application has been hit this will no longer pull from the data source the Data row limit can be found in the settings of the canvas app: 

This can be set to a maximum of 2000 Items so if your application will never exceeds this item limit then you will be fine but if the application will exceed 2000 items (Assuming you have this Data row limit set to 2000) then this will then cause you issues with not collecting the 2001 etc item in your list. 

I would recommend always setting this to 1 when editing as then you will clearly see when a delegation issue will arise in the future! 

Starts with is a None delegable Function unfortunately! So you will always get this waring when using this in your filter when your using a nondelegable data source like SharePoint. You could try moving to a delegable Data source which would be Dataverse or try a batch loading process using Power Automate to pass your data to the Canvas App in to a collection.

Hi @Sawanya_W ,

The delegation warning will not disappear even if you set it to 2000. 

But if the table length is within 2000, it will not affect your application.
