New screen with variable not updating after edit

I have a gallery on screen 1, and then I click on an item in the gallery to go to screen 2. Navigate(Screen2, Fade, {SelectedTicket:TicketGallery.Selected}).

When on screen2 and I try to edit the description field for example, it does not show the change on screen2. I have to go back to screen1, select the gallery item again and then go back to screen2 to see the changes.

Is there a way to update the SelectedTicket.Description record and have it show the update on screen2 without navigating away?

Yeah that doesn't update the HTMLText field that has the description.

Basically what I have is an edit icon, that I click that brings up the Rich Text Editor for the description. Edit that, and then save it back to the sharepoint list to be displayed in the HTMLText field. The HTMLText field never updates but if I try to edit it again and bring up the Rich Text Editor I see the changes there.

Another piece of information. Does the HTML contain some Variables that need updating?

Because it is on screen2, it is not calling the gallery directly, but referencing the record by way of SelectedTicket. When on Screen2 SelectedTicket is = TicketGallery.Selected. So the HTMLText has its data pulling from SelectedTicket.Description, just like the Rich Text Editor.

Try this in your code, no guarantee it will work, but it will not break anything

No problems @tonysommer - I did not really take it that way.

Put the code straight after the Refresh of the data source - no guarantees here - that is an enormous chunk of logic to expect to refresh when you change something somewhere else.
