Opening Attachments from Power Apps instead of having to download

Hello,

I am trying to implement solution described here https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Community-Blog/Opening-Attachments-from-Power-Apps-in..., but without success. I am convinced that I folowed mentioned procedure, but Gallery or HTML textbox is not visible in my app. Could somebody advice what more i should check and set in my Customized form? As I mentioned under link above, currently I don’t see any error, but I don’t se gallery or HTML box. We would like to use this functionality, but it seems that I am not able based on information under the link to set our form corectly.  Thank you in advance.

hmmm... could you share some images of how you did the implementation?

Did you review these points:

Firstly, a small limitation – the “view mode” list is actually a gallery (which cannot be inserted into the form), so is simply placed in the same location as the Attachment Control. Consequently, if the Form is longer than the screen, the gallery will not “scroll” with the form. The visibility of both controls is controlled by the form mode as shown further down.

The important piece is the Items of the “View” Gallery. If you simply reference the attachment control, you do not get the values you need, so you need to Lookup the SharePoint List with the relevant reference. I have simply used the ID of the selected item in the gallery from which the form was chosen, but this could be whatever identifier you wanted.

Hello, for the HTML textbox I followed procedure and inserted box inside of "Přílohy_DataCard2"

I used formula for HTML textbox Concat(LookUp('Reklamace od zákazníků';ID = 1).Přílohy;"<p><b><a href= '" & AbsoluteUri & "'>" & DisplayName & "</a></b></p>")

There is no error and mentioned limitation should not affect HTML textbox as I understand. When I preview form, textbox is not visible.

Hello, I tried with different sharepoint list and there appeared in HTML textbox one link as below, but it is there from beginning and doesn´t change even if I upload new one atc. (if I open app for changes, this attachment is there all the time visible, attachment datacard is not empty when open app for changes) Used formula from template Concat(LookUp( 'PON (Peer observation note)'; ID = 1).Přílohy; "<p><b><a href= '" & AbsoluteUri & "'>" & DisplayName & "</a></b></p>") looks OK, but functionality doesn´t work.  I tried publish app but still not working. Any idea what could be wrong in my setting?Thank you.

Change the form's Default mode property to New, then the fields will appear.

Hello, that is what I tried before and now again. I deleted and added attachment but functionality is still the same. Below you can see how it looks when default mode is "New" (I saved app and published). No change, any old attachment is still visible and appear there again and again. For new attachments formula doesn´t work (they don´t appear in HTML box). I tried to delete and add attachment again (now I can add the 2x).

If I open any old record where is no attachment, HTML box still showing any old attachment?
