Patch LookUp Collumn with Lookup to make New Record

The Idea is to have an event calendar that people can RSVP on.

I made 2 SharePoint Lists.

The first Is "Events" with the events and it's columns being (id, title, startdatetime, enddatetime, description)

T second is "Event RSVP" with the rsvp list of all events and it's columns being (event(lookup of "Events"), name, status, note)

If you RSVP that you are coming to an event than your name with the attendace status will be added to the "Event RSVP" list. Eventually the RSVP list contains all attendance status's of all employees of the company in all the events. If someone would change their RSVP status to "Absent" instead it'll search in the "Event RSVP" list for all items with their name and the event title so that no duplicates are formed and it can simply update the "status" column.

In the app after I click on an event I can click "yes" or "no" for attendace. When the button "yes" is clicked this is the code behind it:

I've tried collect, patch, including lookups, ... but haven't found anything that works and none of the solutions online help either.

Are you getting any error message when to try the Patch code ? If yes, please share a screenshot of the error message. You can also give a try to below code.

Thanks you so much for wanting to help!

The error message I get when putting in the code you gave is the following:
"The function Patch has invalid parameters"

When I hover over the table it says:

"Invalid parametertyper, Expected is a record of another schema"

"missing column, in your form there's a column id missing with the type number"

With the code that I had before I pasted yours I got the exact same error.

It would be great if you could share the data type of all the three columns which you are trying to update. 

More specifically I want to know the date type of Status and Naam.

"Naam" is a single line of text

"Status" is a choice column

When I remove the element column from the table status and name do get written to.

I included a picture of both the RSVP list and the Events list.

Just to be specific with the column creating issue patch could you please try to update single columns?

Like first try with only Evenement than Status and Than Naam.

Naam and Status on their own work correctly. They both created a new item with my fullname and the status given.

when I try to do Evenement on it's own it gives me an error so I can't even try.

One more debugging we need to perform. Could please try to add Evenement with hardcoded values like any id and value pair from the lookup list ?

Not sure if semicolon is the issue. Could you please replace the function with below code ?
