People choice column in Custom form

Hi all, 

I have set up a custom form for my Microsoft List in which I have a column that is the type People/Group and works well while using the default ms lists form, but with PowerApps custom form - it doesn't work correctly. 

It just shows the ones that I have already added but doesn't allow me to choose anybody I haven't chosen yet, I can only chose from about 20 people. 

Please advise!

How does that change the Patch ? It should not make any difference providing you refer to the new control name output properly.

Not sure but now when using the columns I get this message.

What is the Update on the data card with the new control in it ?

Going back to my original post and assuming DataCardValue42 is the new Classic single selection Combo Box  If your Items are

Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:Self.SearchText})

Your DefaultSelectedItems

RenameColumns(
   ThisItem.YourPersonFieldName,
   "Email",
   "Mail"
)

and the Update

{
    Claims: "i:0#.f|membership|" & Lower(DataCardValue42.Mail),
    Department: "",
    DisplayName: DataCardValue42.Selected.DisplayName,
    Email: DataCardValue42.Selected.Mail,
    JobTitle: "",
    Picture: ""
}

there is no reason it should not work.

This is not a single selection - it is a multi-select - could that be what is posing the issue?

Absolutely - something that would have been good to know way before now. I assume your field is also multiple value ? Update

The code is correct providing the information you have posted is accurate. I just tested the exact format using a multi-select Combo Box on a Multi-Value Person field and it updated and displayed as expected.
