Populate Text Input based dropdown and excel

I have an excel table with 3 columns:

Printer Manufacturer

Printer Model

Cost

The App has the following:

Printer Manufacturer -- Dropdown

Printer Model -- Dropdown

Cost -- Text Input

The printer model is populated based on Printer Manufacturer selection, however, I am unable to populate the cost based on the printer model.

My workaround was a bit tricky but inefficient, which creates another drop down to filter the cost based on the model and read the value into the text box, then make cost dropbox invisible.

How do I populate text input or a label in that sense based on dropdown selection?

It really depends on exacltly what formula yo put on the dropdowns.

But try in the Default of the Textbox any of these:

Dropdown2.Selected.Value

Dropdown2.Selected.ColumnName

Dropdown2.Selected.Result

if it doe not work, show the formulas on the items of both dropdwons

Hi @MJ_RT ,

Assuming the printer model is unique (it does not need the manufacturer added), the value you are after would be

Lookup(
   YourDataSourceName,
   YourPrinterModelFieldName = YOurDropDownName.Selected.Value   //note Value may be different
   Cost
)

This can be the Default of the cost text box and should populate when the item is selected from the dropdown.
