PowerApps Form sometimes launches from Classic Calendar in SharePoint

I have a custom list with a mix of modern list views and calendar views that require the classic experience to view the gridded monthly calendar. I have found that sometimes when I click on the link in the classic calendar view for this list that the PowerApps form appears in a new window, but other times the classic form appears instead.

By clicking through different links on my SharePoint page and moving between classic and modern views, I can recreate the phenomenon that the classic calendar link will open the PowerApps form but I can't do it consistently. I would prefer to always point users to the PowerApps form when using the classic calendars but I can't seem to find any information on how to do this. Actually just the opposite, I have seen many threads saying that it's not possible to link the PowerApps form from the classic view. The fact that I can semi-randomly the PowerApps form to load is very confusing. 

Attached is the calendar, then the PowerApps form that, in this instance, opens from clicking on the link shown in the calendar view.

Any idea on how to force this (possible) bug to make the PowerApps form always show for the items opened in classic calendar views?

Do you mean that if you open a sharepoint list form, sometimes it displays the custom form, sometimes it displays classic form?

Firstly please check whether you've select displaying the custom form.

List settings->form settings:

Secondly, please check your custom form's setting.

Thirdly, try to clean your browser's cache and update it to the latest version.

Hi @v-yutliu-msft Thanks for your reply.

1. Yes, my form settings match those you show.

2. I updated my SharePointIntegration control settings per the link.

3. I have the latest version of my Chrome browser and cleared the cache.

I can still make the issue happen but the reason it happens appears to be more predictable than I thought before. For example, if I go to the calendar view from a link when I am on the home page of the SharePoint site in my browser, click on the link to the classic view to see the calendar displayed, then click a link on a calendar item, it will open the PowerApps form.

However, if I do what I describe above, but then I navigate back to the calendar view from the PowerApps form, and from that calendar page I use another link in the left navigation bar to another calendar view that is part of the same custom list, then click the bottom left link to see the calendar in the classic view, and then click to open a calendar item, it will open the classic form.

It seems that I need to navigate back to the home page instead of moving between lists in order to have the PowerApp form load. Otherwise, it is as if the site thinks I want to switch to classic version perminently and will then display custom lists and forms in the classic way until I navigate back to the home page.

I think this is "solved" but requires the user to navigate the site in a certain way. Without more testing among the team, I can't be sure though. I'll reply if I find other odd behavior.
