Powerapps Helpdesk - All the records from sharepoint are not showing up - it displays only the records I have created and not my colleague tickets.

I created HelpDesk app about 3 months back using the documentation and it was working fine until 2 days back.

I planned to role out internally to my colleagues and I added two of my colleagues as admins to the admin collection list in the app - OnStart

since then the app is not giving me the full list of tickets available in the sharepoint list. The app only shows the tickets I have created and not the tickets my colleagues created under both admin and user login. The situation is similar for my colleagues also. They see only the tickets they created and not the tickets others created.

Any ideas where I need to change the code to show all tickets available in sharepoint which show up for admins login. By the way login for admins and user is working but unfortunately for both logins it shows the same records.

Can you open the Gallery that displays the Tickets and check the Items Property? It might be having like a filtering Condition to the current user

So the above expression checks whether the logged in user is an Admin , if Yes then you can see all the tickets otherwise it is filtered by the logged in user , so if you want all users to see all tickets you need to replace witj

Sort(AllTickets,Created,Descending)

I want only the admins to see all tickets and users to see only tickets raised by them.  Hence the logic If(isAdmin,Sort(AllTickets,Created,Descending),Sort(Filter(AllTickets,Author.Email = MyProfile.Mail || Author.Claims = MyProfile.UserPrincipalName ),Created,Descending)) should be working correctly

 

Unfortunately this logic is not working for admin. It shows up only the tickets raised using user login. As I mentioned in the post it was working correctly but now it is not after adding the additional names to admin. Now whatever I do I can only see the tickets raised by the admin/user (Myself).

How are you adding new admins to the admin collection?

 

they should be in the format email1,email2

You need to add delimiter comma between each email as below:

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!   This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
