Property storage exceeds

Hey,

 

I am still getting an error on my app. I have an app where I do NOT have any collections, so nothing is getting saved. 

The only thing is changing variables. I am looking at outlook calendars and working with this data,

 

After some hours, 5-8, when app was running on tablet, I am getting a red error on top saying:
"Property storage exceeds 196607 properties"

 

I first thought it is too many variables, changed that. Cleared cache everywhere so tablet has more storage. But it is still keep coming.

After I turn off PowerApps and turn on app again it works fine, until gets this error.

 

Can you please explain me what it is and how to fix it?

Is this happening only for managers that are booking a lot during the day, or is this happening regardless and to every user?

 

At last look at this, you had changed the app to avoid looking too far into the future on the calendars.  Did that make any difference?

Yes, I changed it from 1 month(hehe) to 2 days, but it is still the same. And not even running for more days or hours without this error.

 

It gives to all users. I even tried today on one who never has a change in calendar.

So...we're going to need to start digging into your formulas then to see what is happening.

Also, on your own, you might try to profile your app with the Monitor Tool.  After that I'd look into adding App Insights to the app to gather information and trace the issue.

Sounds bad...

Could it be an issue that my formulas are located on timers? So it is basically updating constantly?

Well, that really depends...again, I'd have to seem more of the formulas to get an idea on that.

But, the first simple things to look over is the Monitor Tool.   You can run this on a published app from the app list (choose the ... dropdown and then choose the monitor tool, then in the tool, play the app - there is a button at the top).  

This will give you lots of details on the amount of data and sizes that are being handled.

So now I tried to monitor several times, and the thing is that the monitor is getting disconnected after 2-3 hours. So I cannot grab this moment where it is showing the error.

But I can attach what it monitored so far. Can you see if there is something making you "worry" in this?

Oh, my impression was that this was happening pretty quickly.  If the monitor doesn't get it, then it might be time to look at Application Insights to gather more details and trace.

 

I didn't see anything attached to your last post.  If you have something for me to look over, you might want to send it to me as a private message as it will certainly have some information which might be sensitive and you'd rather not have public in the forum.  Now...you might have already done so - I'm WAY behind on responses to PM's, haven't even had a chance to look at them for the past week.

Hi! Any solution on this issue? I'm having the same problem with my app. This is a Meeting room monitoring app to use on a tablet hang out of meeting rooms to show availability or if the room is beign used. It grabs events from a calendar. After a few hours I get the below error message. The first bit in italian translates to "Call to Office365Outlook.CalendarGetItems failed:"

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!   This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
